Merino MOIRA combines the natural performance of premium Merino wool with the functional reliability of advanced synthetic fibres. The result is a base layer system that brings together the strongest properties of both materials: thermal comfort, moisture management, long-term wearability and durability under load.

Merino wool naturally supports body temperature regulation. It helps retain warmth in cold conditions, remains comfortable during extended wear and limits odour development during long shifts, training, field use or deployment. For demanding use, this is critical: when the body stays warm and dry, it can preserve energy for movement, focus and performance.

MOIRA works with premium Merino SUPER FINE wool with fibres only 16.5 microns in diameter. This makes the material soft enough for direct contact with the skin, without the roughness often associated with traditional wool.

The functional synthetic component supports what Merino alone cannot fully provide. High-quality polypropylene fibres help move moisture away from the skin, absorb significantly less water than polyester and dry quickly. This helps reduce the cooling effect of sweat and keeps the layer functional during changing activity levels.
